This is my contribution to the
33.3.2 Art Show curated by illustrator and designer
Dana Lechtenberg. This is the second year for the show which features 33 and a third different artists and designers reinterpreting and re-imagining existing album covers in their own unique style. I chose to reinterpret Pixies "Doolittle" since it's my favorite album of my favorite band and it has a monkey on it, and it's really fun to draw monkeys.
The show opened this past weekend at Schera’s Fine Art located in Elkader, Iowa and will return to Cup of Joe in Cedar Falls, Iowa, for the second leg in early 2012.

The size of each piece is 12” by 12” (the size of a vinyl LP).
